Iris May Hatter

Here’s a quick project that I did for a Hatter Party we had at our local scrapbook store over the weekend.  A bunch of us got together to celebrate the new rubber stamp releases from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and had a crop day.  For some of the door prizes I created three different card kits and this was one of them. 😀

For this card kit I used Iris May Hatter from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and the “Hatty Birthday!” sentiment which I include free with any rubber stamps order (while supplies last).  I used paper piecing to get most of the coloring done so all I worried about was her hair, purse and skin.

For the background I used an embossing folder from Stampin’ Up on the pink a white gel pen on the decorative paper for a small border.  Finally added some rose ribbon, stamped the sentiment and added a silver brad which says “Genuine” on it.

I think the paper was from Authentic but I don’t have it handy to get the exact name.  It was a fun quick card and I hope you enjoy it!  Thanks for dropping by and come back later for some more new release projects coming your way.

I would like to add this to the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Challenges – Anything Goes

Update: I was the winner at Scrapalicious USA for this project!
